F*ck! This is such a steal I’d feel bad for the seller if I bought it. These go for 50-100% more than what he’s asking right now, somebody pick this up QUICK.

how much would the registration cost? Basically, how much extra cash is needed to get this car on the road ?

That car landed in BC, Shipped here to Ontario + Taxes and Registration your looking at about an aditional $4000

That estimate of 6100 includes GST (7%) and duty (6.1%). Figure an extra $500 in port holding fees, unless these are already covered, which they should be as part of the service fee. Shipping from BC is under $1000. PST would be 8% on the purchase price + shipping from Japan, so figure another $400 worst, worst case. Then $50 for safety, $30 for etest, $75 for sticker/$20 for plates if you don’t already have 'em.

Where’d ya get 4g’s from?

I’d be interested in a vehicle around spring (seeing as it is worthless to have a vehicle I can’t drive in the winter)
Just wondering are these vehicles AS IS, basically if this thing for some reason doesn’t pass e-test, cert. needs a shit load of work, am I SOL and on my own? I guess I’m talking worst case here, but it would let me know what I would need to be prepared for from you.

Great price BTW! If I wasn’t moving into a new house I’d be all over it.

But you also have to remember that the prices will most likely go up in spring as well…

Let me know where I can get a car shipped from BC to Ontario for under $1000.

I’ve gotten quotes from Alberta to Ontario of ~$2000

Wouldn’t you be able to get temp plates and drive it here? Grayhound ur ass to BC (or fly if you’re rich), get some nice asian ass while you’re there, then pull into your driveway with a nice shiny Z

adam.

My buddy’s dad payed $900 to ship a 64 bug from BC for his sister. Through it on a train and that was it.

Brock

Yes I am also talking about rail. And some import companies have hookups with rail carriers so it could be as low as $850.

CN Rail will be very near to $1000, probably a bit more or a bit less, but not even close to $2000.

The estimated landed prices that we quote have an allowance factored in already for local port charges and Cusoms brokers fees as well as import duty & GST … so the budget of around $6,100 should be enough to get the car landed in BC and released from the port.

Delivery by rail from the port in BC to Toronto should be around $900 to $1,000 using a company such as www.lhf.com - then around $600 for all the other bits listed here by spd-dmn, so that should be around $7,800 on the road give or take a little.

Yep. And for $8000 on the road you can’t beat that price for a TT 2+2, which was never sold in North America.
