JIZZZZZZZ

the buyer of this may want to know how easy it is to get a replacement tranny for this and roughly how much that would cost.

looks like a steal though!

With the 2JZ conversion we believe the gearbox is from a JZA80 Supra as well (this is obviously something we would check if a customer is interested in the car) in which case one could be sourced either in Japan though it may be cheaper to find one locally thanks to the price of good Japanese labour to install it. We’d also look into why the gearbox has munched itself though being a 5 speed my bet would be that the non turbo Supra gearbox isn’t up to a worked turbo engine with a T78 (it’ll be pushing it some pretty big numbers) and a tougher turbo Supra 6 speed box may be the smarter replacement.

All of this stuff is the sort of thing we’d look into for someone thinking about the car, at this point we’re just seeing if there is any interest.

Pure vintage Recaro.
