1993 R33 Nissan Skyline GTSt

PRICE DROP!!!

Well, the time has come to sell my baby. Recently bought a new toy and there’s only room for one!
Car is a black 1993 R33 GTSt Type M (Model ECR33 with RB25DET engine) with all the available options from the factory - sunroof, power windows, front/rear parking sensors, retractable parking antenna on the front bumper, “SKYLINE” logo on rear trunk lights up, WORKING fog lights (apparently most of the others have fogs but no bulbs/harness or switch on the stalk for them), power up/down chin spoiler via button on dash, rear wiper, ABS; haven’t seen some of these on any other ECR33 and am told most of it’s rare; everything works. Car has never been winter driven and has always been stored in a heated garage over winter, also very rarely rain-driven (maybe half a dozen times). Car is rust-free and has been oil-sprayed prior to storage every year as well.

  • To give you an idea of the car and what I’ve spent on it over the past couple years:

  • The good: Refreshed RB25DET picked out by Whitehead Performance (Nissan specialists in North York) with ~40,000km on it (1000+), who also replaced the rear main seal & retainer, oil/water pumps, new timing belt/set timing, and put new Splitfire coils(~700)/plugs in, HICAS delete (~$150) also ($3500+ for parts/labour), new Mishimoto aluminum rad with Billion rad hoses ($300), Apex’i CAI (~$250), ACT clutch with less than 10,000km on it (~$1000 after shipping/labour/etc), 3" turbo-back straight exhaust (was told it was HKS by the GTR Canada member I bought it from but haven’t seen any stamps everywhere; sounds amazing, not too loud - $300), Cusco Zero-2 coilovers ($2500 new) that were fully corner balanced and track-aligned by Scott at Can-Align (~$400) who also put new rear tie-rods in (~$250); Z33 18" wheels powdercoated satin black (~$800) with super sticky Hankook RS-3 245/40/18’s on them with 80+% life left (~$1000), Nismo 300km/h cluster (~$150), Nismo shifter knob ($80), C’s Racing short shifter ($50+), Nismo front strut tower bar with brake cylinder brace; GReddy BOV (~$100) and I’m sure there’s several other things I’ve forgotten about. That’s over $11,000 of goodies that are all functional!
Best HP estimates are around 270hp and I’m told that’s conservative. Spoke to Radek @ RS Tuning recently who said it would be quite easy to tune to 300+hp for relatively cheap.

  • The sort-of-good: Still have lots of parts that would be for sale that just haven’t found their way onto the car yet, including: spare VLSD, Cusco front+rear thicker sway bars with bushings, Sparco wheel 350mm, HKB Boss hub, R33 GTR wing (legit, not a replica!), OEM side skirts + rear spats, R32 GTR FMIC

  • The not-good: there’s a dent above the driver’s window from a car-port pulling away from its anchors and bumping into it :frowning: about palm-size. Haven’t looked into fixing it yet but imagine it’d be pretty easy if you just pull the trim away from the A-pillar inside… We can check it out.

The only reason I’m selling it is because I bought a new daily driver and moved and don’t have room for both cars. I’ve taken great care of this car in the three years that I’ve owned it and am sad to see it go. In fact, every mechanic who’s opened the hood or looked underneath has been shocked at how clean it is and can’t believe it’s 20 years old. The car has been to one track day last October, just because I wanted to see what it was capable of. I drove the car to Mosport, did about 5-6 ten minute sessions, then cooled it down thoroughly until the next sessions. The car worked great without any problems. It’ll work great as a track car or drift car or daily driver, whatever you want  Oil’s been changed with synthetic every 5,000km. Always used 94 Octane. Comes with coilover wrenches, owner’s manual, spare parts negotiable.

The car’s in Welland, ON if you want to come see it, insurance will still be on it for the next couple weeks, but please, no ridiculous lowballers, time-wasters, tire-kickers, or test pilots.

Asking $8,500 OBO. Will consider trade for four-wheeler/motorcycle.

FYI, Right Drive/Japan Power/JDM Ottawa sells their STOCK R33 GTSt’s for 10-12K. Yes the prices are the same but all the maintenance parts in mine have been replaced with a few clean, functional upgrades to make the car fun to drive and reliable!

Feel free to email any questions and I’ll respond as soon as I can. Also can send more pictures if you wish.
