I am selling this car for one of my best friend’s. He is currently out of the country for his wedding/honeymoon. Consider this car mine, I will fully vouch for it, and I have the title keys for it. Here is the ad:
For Sale: 1993 Toyota Celica GT
My wife bought the car in 2005 with 95,000 miles, and since than it has seen almost all highway miles from downtown to UB and now has 130,207. The car has been sitting now for around 10 months due to the purchase of a 2009 Honda Civic. We wanted to keep it as a 3rd vehicle, but no longer have the space for it. The oil was changed religiously every 3,000 miles with Mobil1 5w30, and does not leak or use a drop of anything. The last tune up was around 1 year ago, the tires have a lot of life on them, and the transmission fluid was flushed during a recent clutch job. The car is not on the road now, but has been driven down the street a few times back and forth to remove build up off of the brakes. Even while it has sat, it has always started and idled and ran like it had been driven all along. The interior is as close to perfect as they come, it is CLEAN. The exterior looks very good too. The only thing showing its age on this car is the paint. There some nicks and scratches here and there, but no rot, and it was just professionally rubbed, waxed and detailed in and out. You’d be hard pressed to find a nicer 1993 Toyota Celica GT.
Recent Parts Replaced – All done around 125,000: New clutch, timing belt, water pump, belt tensioner, idler pulley, P/S high pressure hose, P/S pump, valve cover gasket, passenger side axle, drivers side outer axle boot, Drivers + Passenger front lower ball joints, Drivers + Passenger outer tie rod, Drivers + Passenger steering rack boots. More recently: Fuel tank, passenger rear control arm, Driver + Passenger front wheel bearings, Drivers + Passenger E-brake cables, Drivers + Passenger E-brake shoes and hardware.
Extras: I am selling the car with a used steering rack that I bought when I was told the rack was leaking, when in actuality it was the high pressure hose leaking on the rack (hose was replaced, see above), but I found this out after I bought it. Also, the 3 other rear control arms, and an extra set of used front brake rotors that still have plenty of meat to them (almost new). Also, I have many of the receipts from the work done during my ownership, and kept all of the receipts from the previous owner.
This car is near perfect! It’s worth it’s sum in parts alone, and it’s been incredibly maintained.
Asking $2950, FIRM.
