Copy and paste from syty.net Selling my white Typhoon
1993 Typhoon #1754
65,000 miles
Asking $13,000.00. Feel free to send me offers. Price may be a bit higher than what others are selling for, but a stock truck in this shape is tough to find. Not looking for trades really. Too much stuff in my driveway as it is.
Will come with stock wheels with Michelin Pilot Alpine 225/55/R16 with about 90% tread left. Wheels are mint, see picture at end of when I bought them. Took them off and put the black ones on and they have been in storage since. There is a slight vibration with the stock wheels at 75ish mph, which may be balance or flat spot in the tires. I didn’t drive it enough to worry about it.
Comes with the cargo net, spare wheel cover, skidplate, bellhousing cover, everything that is sometimes missing on these trucks.
Thick folder of receipts from when it was new until now. All owners manuals too.
A/C works well.
Things I have done since buying it from Jim in 2011:
New turbo to IC hard pipe
Swapped out the 3" lowering blocks to 2" blocks and raised the front up to match for a better ride.
New battery.
New stock headlights.
Barely driven it.
Truck is super nice. Paint is nearly flawless, its tough to find a bad spot. I tried to picture this with the pictures. Same with the interior. Couple of the “bad” points. Standard loose steering that is found on S-Series trucks. New steering shaft and the like will fix that if you want. The ride is a little on the rough side like most lowered Typhoons. I did raise it up from when I bought it and that helped a lot.
Post up any questions you have. Thanks
The black spot on the bumper is a bug, not a blemish. Same for the left side of the grille halfway up.
The wire loom is gone. Was for an amp that JIm kept. The boost gauge on the floor was temporary just to check things out.
