The Nissan Silvia
The S13 Silvia, introduced in mid-1988 for the 1989 model year, was immensely popular in Japan. The Silvia name was no longer used on export models, however; European models were now known as 200SX. Following industry trends, the S13 Silvia switched to relampable fixed headlights. Projector optics were offered as an option.

The Silvia coupe was discontinued and replaced by a new model sharing the S platform, the Nissan 180SX. The 180SX continued using pop-up headlights. A convertible was briefly offered soon after the start of production, but it was never popular, perhaps due to high cost (3.25 million Yen in 1988), heavier curb weight, and chassis flex.

The S13 was one of the first uses of Nissan’s multi-link rear suspension, the technology of which was previewed in concept cars in previous years, such as the Nissan MID4. It also offered a four-wheel steering system for the first time, known as HICAS-II. In 1990, HICAS-II was updated and renamed SuperHICAS. The S13 also saw the introduction of a viscous-type limited slip differential for some models.

Holy shit. You guys don’t mess around.

Ahhhh I want it!

Isn’t this supposed to be YO5HI’s car or something?

I don’t think he is purchasing it anymore. We are keeping it in stock.

shit…

new pics

Guys
When I had a chance to analyze this car, I found lots of mods not mention earlier.
Most importantly though, the trans is not a sequential as assumed.

Its a standard trans (most likely built since it wouldnt be able to handle the horse this thing makes - but I can not confirm yet) with an Ikey formula sequential shift kit.

Just a rare, less expensive and now you dont have to worry about breaking or rebuilding an hks trans.

This is better in my opinion even though the IF shift kit is only worth a couple thousand.

i dont understand how someone decides they dont want this car anymore so they throw it up for auction for export… guy most have lost his shirt big.

lets take that rear splitter off and make some rips of it…lol

its very nice, only problem i see is wheel fitament. who ever buys this better fix that

My theory…

The seller in Japan would not go to all the trouble to build this wild machine and run 255 r and 215f.
Obviously with the flares he had some sort of crazy wheel on it, something that was like 12" wide with 0 offset.

I think he kept them and put these wheels on, which look like old track spares at best.

bump for new pics

interesting aero… and it looks basedo n this pic it has a full flat underbody (cant really tell 100% maybe just the splitter…)

However what i find odd is using a bolt in cage wtf…

None the less pretty sweet.

Yeah
the last pic tried to show the under tray.

In the rear, the diffuser goes all the way under the chassis and trays it to the rear axle.
Same for the front with a carbon/aluminum mix with scoops to draw in air.

Should take some more aero pix and under.

I went by there today and that car is SICK!! I WISH i had money to buy that just to drive it on the road lol… seriously the car is clean as hell… excellent buy!!!

JR knows the score

this car looks like a BEAST
looks sick

Saw the car today, thing is an animal. Someone will get a steal of a deal here and everyone in my family(plus wifey) knows If I could I would.

Tom,
Glad you liked her.
For anyone to build the same car, you would spend $50,000 - 60,000 minimum by my counts. Definitely a steal.

Did you sit in the car at all Tom… it is so tight to get in and out.
