i am posting up my girlfriend’s car for sale. perfect for someone looking for a winter beater that’s not a complete shitbox. it’s very quiet, very comfortable, decent on gas, and is reliable.

FWD
Burgundy/maroon paint
Gray Cloth interior

AM/FM
Her grandfather used to work for General Motors and bought the car brand new in 1994. He drove it to Michigan and back for work until 2005, when he sold it to her. It has been a good car for her, but she’s looking for something a little newer and smaller now that she’s out of school.
The good:
-Tires are 6 months old, and this car is awesome in the snow.
-New front pads and rotors, calipers taken apart, cleaned, and lubed
-rear brakes taken apart, serviced, adjusted. newer shoes
-new brake lines
-new serpentine belt tensioner
-gas tank is 2 years old
-water pump done 2 years ago
-new starter put in 2 years ago
-2 new rear trailing arms a year or two ago, common problem.
-engine doesn’t burn oil, and does not lose coolant. runs perfect and tranny shifts fine.
-brand new front right wheel bearing/hub, 1 day old.
The not so good:
-Her neighbors are completely retarded, and have backed into her car a couple of times. There are a few dents around the car (driver’s fender, driver’s quarter panel). They are simply cosmetic and cost too much to fix for an older car of this value, so we just left it. this is purely cosmetic and does not affect operation at all.
-there are a few rust areas on the car
it’s my girlfriend’s car. we have a potential buyer lined up ($1000) but if it falls through we can definitely talk.
she wants it to “go to a good home” but i want to help you destroy it doing burnouts and ripping through cornfields.

actually now that you mention it…i have a friend who just graduated Pharmacy from UB, he has a POS 97ish 24V V6 Contour he has been wanting to junk. depending on what you’d offer him (prob less than $1000) he’d be willing to donate it for massive hoonage as long as you’d let him participate and/or watch
