A guy I work with was selling his 92y/o mother’s car. I went to check it out and the thing is cherry. Garage kept, dealer maintained, all receipts, original window sticker, she left me her cassettes, umbrella and jumper cables (because she said she doesn’t need them anymore  )
I was originally thinking it could be for my father in law or that I’ll flip it, but I think now I’ll make it my new daily. It’s amazingly comfortable, looks awesome to me, has plently of power and gets good fuel economy.
So far, took off the stock wheels and put on some 17" DTS chrome wheels with vogues. Seems to handle a bit better and looks perfect. I’ll have the windows tinted and put in a Bluetooth radio with a couple subs.
Its almost totally driven by price. I got this entire car for less than what a set of wheels cost for the viper. To me, that makes this car totally awesome. If you spend a lot of money on a car it better be awesome, but when a cheap car is awesome, that’s when it really shines.
Plus this thing is a pimp daddy caddy yo’.
I’d LOVE to get a cheap set of swangas for her, but they are too much dinero.
I’m curious how this rides down the highway. The only big floaty Caddy I’ve ever been in was a Brougham and it was so floaty it was car sickness inducing. I’ve been in some newer ones but they’ve moved more toward a sporting ride. I’m guessing this falls somewhere in between.
It is probably 70% floaty 30% sporty. The rear has air ride, which helps, but its fairly boatish. Its not floaty enough to get you sick but you can notice it if you’re going over a series of bumps.
Dope! My mom’s brougham you can turn the steering while with your pinky!
Poor thing is in the junkyard though, salt wasn’t too kind to her, my sister hitting shit with it and saying someone hit it while parked also wasn’t too kind to her.
