1999 Honda CRV EX - 1 owner, Florida truck, needs work - $1200

.
Hello,

Up for sale is a '99 CRV 4WD EX. It has 203K miles, and spent it’s whole life in Florida, with the exception of the last 2 years. It has next to no rust on the exterior, as the photos clearly show, and the interior is in nice shape too.

The vehicle runs and drives, however needs headwork (possible valve replacement). CRV’s of this generation typically sell in the 4-5K range. With respect to the work this truck needs, it is clearly priced to sell fast.

If interested, please email me your name AND phone #. I will then call you to set up a viewing.

Best,

Joe

Automatic? Clean title?

Craigslist ad shows auto

Ummmmmm…this…isn’t a truck.

Yes to both…if interested, PM me ASAP, getting a lot of interest and I just put it up FS today…

What’s the crv doing you think it needs valve work? $800?

Best I can do is 1300.

$1300? that’s more then asking. What’s wrong with the head?

Best lowball response ever. Price went up $100. Must be a fan of Pawn Stars.

That’s not a lowball offer, $500 would have been. Its got 200k on it and needs some kind of head work and who knows what else
. $800 is a solid offer.

Yea, actually it is not a solid offer. Rust free CRV’s of this generation in nice, rust free shape sell upwards of 4K-5K. As a supposed Honda guy, you should know that. This one needs about $800 in work to be perfect. 1,200 is laughably low. It is priced to sell. Offering below that is insulting and you know it.

Oh, and sold today at full asking to the first person to see it…

Shazaam!

This is Nyspeed what did you expect?

I don’t know, decency? I’ve actually sold a # of cars to people on here, all the deals went great…it is the attitude you are approaching this place with that perpetuates the problem here that everyone has to sell at a fraction of the real value…

I understand, but your selling a used car on here that needs work and has 200k on it. I am offering what I think its worth, all you have to say is I will pass, by your smart remark you actually are the one who wasn’t decent about it. No worries, all is good. It did have a good body though.

still got this ?
