I’m not going to pretend I know the specifics of the car, or the ins and outs of what’s been done, but figured to garner more possible interest in it, I would post it on here.

Why such heavy oil?
That is the correct spec for oil on this car. Not a lot of brand options for that weight and it gets expensive. Some guys run 5w40 because it’s easier to find, but 10w60 is what BMW will sell you for that car if you walk into a dealership.
