2000 BMW M5

Selling my 2000 e39 M5. The car has been absolutely fantastic over the past year and a half of ownership, but I’m really concentrating on drifting over the next few years and have no need for extra cars (hence why I sold off my 2 parts cars, selling my e9, and sold off my last e30). I can tolerate daily driving my truck to further my passion for motorsports.

I purchased the car in July of 2008 in Florida, it was previously out west. Here is ALL the information on the car, as well as photos. There are a few small scratches on the front bumper as highlighted in photos, and one blemish on the rear bumper as well. The car has absolutely ZERO dents or dings in it. All gauges work, absolutely no dead pixels in the dash cluster.

ASKING $18,200 USD or best offer

This car has never done a burnout.

Love the car. Good seller. GLWTS.

Soooo nice… :frowning:

HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET THAT QUARTER TO STICK TO YOUR FINGER???

Gravity, I can has it.

GLWS Mike, what an awesome car, I’ll miss it.

Fenski needs this car

Agreed. Should have sold me your car Matt, now I’m buying a Miata.

These are awesome cars, and this is a phenomenal example, good luck with the sale Durka.

Back up for sale.

That took longer than I expected. I figured gone in a day. If I had the cash I would have jumped like a school girl playing hopscotch!

Very slick!

Gorgeous example - I forgot you even had this.

Hahaha some day guys :meh:

Picking up a miata huh Jeremy? Mazdaspeed edition?

Had two people come to look at it, guy with a deposit in was looking for more of a “fixer upper”, and the other was a kid just looking to drive an M5 (basically got him to admit it on the spot, lol). Soooo back available, with a slight price drop.

I’ll pay a finder’s fee to any NYSpeed member who gets this sold for me.

tell zong to buy this

let me see what i can do mike, i know some people looking for one

Bump for another small price drop. I really don’t want to have to go put this on consignment at my local dealer.

I’d also accept a 1999 or 2000 323i Sedan as a partial trade for another track car project.

GLWS, nice looking car for the miles.

EDIT: why so much $ http://www.edmunds.com/used/2000/bmw/m5/2922/options.html?tmvaction=vdpresult

Because KBB and Edmunds don’t correctly value ///M Series cars for the most part. You can’t find an M5 in decent shape for $12k. I already had a guy offer me $12k and I told him he was going to need more cash.

Plus it actually has a full maintenance history from origin to current, and I’m extremely negotiable. It’s an ASKING price.

Book value is off on many desirable cars like BMW or many Honda for example.
Look at CL or Ebay and see the average listing rates. One step further is I tend to look at ebay completed listings and see what people are actually paying on completed auctions.

This car is sick…GLWS
