Selling my 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. It’s an LS, with selectable 4WD. The truck is in fair condition. Kelley blue book prices the truck at $3,665 in good condition, and at $3200 in fair condition. It will need a few things very soon, so i’m asking $2600 or best offer. The truck currently has 130,000 miles roughly.
The good:
-The tires are brand new (including spare)
-4wd drive works fine
-Interior is in fine shape
-New starter
-ac worked fine as of last summer
-heat works fine as of this past winter
The so-so:
-Engine runs strong but it leaks oil, about a quart every 2-3 weeks.
-front brakes are decent.
-Transmission shifts good.
-Service engine soon light is on, and abs light is on, but passes inspection.
-The battery hold down broke so it’s in there with a bungy cord. Been working like this for years.
The bad:
-Needs rear brakes now. The rear brakes failed and brake fluid existed the rear passenger side caliper. The truck currently has no brake pressure, so the rears will need to be fixed and before it can be driven. The purchaser will need to have the truck towed to it’s new home.
-There are a few rust spots
-the rear hatch wont hold it self up. I use a 2x4.
-Power mirrors don’t work
So far i’ve had about 200000 offers from craigslist fools with imaginary money.
