Just throwing this up for my friend. Bike’s definitely in great shape all around. Located in Amherst.

2001 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R
17k miles
Full synthetic oil change and chain lubed every 2k
Flush mounts on front and back
Equipped with a Jardine RT-One Muffler that has been de-baffled, very loud and sounds mean. Still have the stock pipe in the box.
Rear tire has less than 500 miles on it, probably needs a new front tire.
New battery (July 2008 )

The following was all just done this winter:

Carbon fiber mesh over headlights
Black grips and levers
Monster fairings with matching blacked-out windshield
Gas tank and oil crank case cover painted gloss black to match
Customized rear end (cut down size)

i had the same bike… great bike, super reliable, mine had 30k+ on it… all it ever needed was oil, gas, and a clutch (which wasnt really needed)

3400 might be a bit steep… i bought mine in 04 for 4k… and it was mint. same mods too.

PS, it was one of the most comfy bikes ive owned, got over 40mpg, and ran low 11’s (i had a friend get his into the 10’s)

Good to know :tup:. I am contemplating picking this up in the Spring if he still has it. My only real concern was the mileage, wasn’t sure how long they could go. The other problem I have with it is the paint job, I’m just not into flames on any bike.
