2009 BMW 135i (Rochester)

Hey everyone, I’m around on forums and people just recommended I drop a FS ad here and maybe I’ll get more luck. I know it is my first post here but I have the same/similar name on nasioc/1addicts/buffaloscooby/mbworld/roclife/etc… So, some of you may recognize it, others who don’t should know I’m not just some random poster looking to screw someone over.

Anyway, with that out of the way, here is what I’m selling:

$25k (Gets everything listed)
2009 BMW 135i (N54 motor)
Space gray exterior
Black leather interior
26k miles
M-sport (It’s the auto tranny so it does have paddle shifters, m-sport wheel)
Paint/Interior are both a 9.9/10. I would say 10/10 but obviously someone would be like “that isn’t how it came off the showroom floor.” Bottom line, its clean.
Power seats
Power mirriors
Etc… What it doesn’t have: Cold weather (I know, bummer), Nav. Pretty much the only things I really see people caring about.

Added on:
OSS Headlights (amber delete/LEDS/pretty badass, expensive, and sought after in the 1 community)
CF wrapped roof
35% tint on the windows
JB4 (G5 board w/ cable)
AA catless downpipes (OEM dp’s included)
RPi intake scoops
BMS intakes (OEM box is currently on)
Paint matched kidney grills
Also, no front plate holes are drilled which is nice

Some final thoughts:
I am pretty firm on the 25k. I am basically looking to get what I owe. As time goes on I can go down in price. The only thing the car would need is tires. Basically, I am selling this car because I really only drive my c63. The 1 is surprisingly quick (I’d be happy to show you) but the way I look at it is BMW has taken things too seriously. The 1/m3 are outstanding performers and can likely run laps around the Mercedes counterparts but the craziness that comes with the AMG is something I can’t give up. I am looking to add a second car, however, after the 1. Either an X5 for the winter which I’d probably get bored in or an 05/06 e55 amg and start collecting these things because they are that fun. I must sound like I’m selling mercedes at this point…

Anyways, here are some pictures. Feel free to ask any questions.

Kiva

Pretty much the best shot I currently have of the CF roof, I can get others upon request.

And a dyno of JB4 claims. I have everything minus the walbro pump. You CAN put in a 25-30% mix of E85 and the tune will adjust accordingly.

Thanks for looking

Good luck with the sale. I want one so bad but am under my car so far right now. Hopefully in a year I can get one

Even if it isn’t this one in particular I definitely recommend it. It truly is an awesome car that is ridiculously refined and a serious machine. Thanks for the luck! I’ll take what I can get.

sounds like a MKV R32 would be a perfect winter car for you man

Ugh I want one so bad. A 135i will be my next car. Besides the transmission, you have it optioned out perfectly.

Can’t drive a manual because I jacked up my hip when I got blown up in Afghanistan. Thanks for looking though!

well, dont you feel like an ass now lol

Well the username makes sense now…

^ He shouldn’t. Wasn’t my intention. Just sometimes people are scratching their heads wondering. My Sti was a manual and after driving that around (particularly on long trips) I found my hip to be in excruciating pain. Therefore I made the decision to stick to an auto w/ paddle shift for the time being. I have somewhat rehabbed/exercised over the past 3 years and can see myself trying out a manual again. However, I’ll always have to have an AT just in case.

Anywho, don’t feel like an ass, it happens. My buddy has a twin turbo’d 370z which is also an auto w/ paddle shift. He gets some comments (usually negative) by that side of the car community who believes if it isn’t manual it’s a POS which is when he proceeds to remove his prosthetic lower left leg. That is a fun thing to watch.

But I digress.

As for this for sale thread, I am in the process of swapping this car however I can. Does anyone out there have a friend with a 135i with adaptive headlights? If so, can you send them my way because I may have an offer with regards to my headlights they couldn’t resist.

Thanks

Ugh gorgeous car. Makes me reconsider my next car choice. GLWS

Well I usually do a pretty good job putting my foot in my mouth lol… Sorry man… GLWS

^Again, no worries.

great price.

Well again good luck with the sale and thanks for your service for sure. I’ll be heading out in January

Wait, you’re trying to convert TO adaptive headlights? I friggen hate mine. It’s so unnecessary and the control module is a very common failure since it’s at the bottom of the assembly. Any moisture that makes it’s way into the headlight just pools on top of it until it’s shot.

I never had a lick of trouble with mine… Maybe it’s accident related.

Notice how I said ‘common issue’.

One major cause was if you had to remove the rear access panel at all, it wouldn’t re-seal properly and would let moisture in. In my case, it was a shop that replaced a parking lamp bulb for me during an inspection and broke the tabs on the access panel. Fucking wonderful.

Nope, already have them. The OSS headlights are plug and play for adaptive headlight applications so there is no warning lights.

you sound like a guy worth knowing. GLWS

Thanks for the luck. Apparently I need it even to just get someone to go in on a trade with me. Go figure a RWD coupe isn’t what people are looking for in November in Upstate NY. Weird.
