600whp on the street? better roll on some 26inch slicks and pray someone put some VHT down where you are. only way itll EVER hook is with a progressive ramp EBC, like an AMS 1000. i told adam id run him on race gas, him off the bottle, id be lucky if that was 400whp. id still be chasing him down. top end sure, itll pull(but will it be enough) the first 330ft -1000ft adam would be well ahead… unless this is a 600hp gti with AWD.

fastest VW i have ever seen was like 9-10’s and that was a full out drag car running big boost, and nitrious. most 400whp front fwd vw’s run like 12’s at best.
the power is there, but u just cant hook.

yea issues and all its terrible.
its reliable as can be now. the only issue i’ve had was a frayed map sensor wire and a blown rear o2 which just meters if the cat is working… that was my own fault.
the car that put down 582 whp is an APR stg3 gti with a gt3076r bolted up to it. thats it. 582whp, 496tq on vp ms109 unleaded. what so hard to not believe? rs4 injectors, IE rods, APR hardware kit, bigger turbo, and on race gas.

Because its hard to find A turbo 87+ 300ZX around here thats as in good of condition that mine is in… Why buy a complete other car for $2000+ Dollars when I aquired a turbo setup for 400 dollars and with a little time I save money and learn a bit more about my car.
If I just went and bought a turbo car, I woudlent be pulling the motor and doing a complete teardown like I am now

why spend all the money again.
rods + turbokit + clutch + suspension + exhaust + software, fueling so and and so forth… why not spend a couple hundy on a better intercooler and maybe an AEB head. make 450whp on pump. wait for the tranny to explode and buy another 02j and wait for the clutch to end its life… youre spending a ton of money on the same parts again, just to have a newer car. plus youll have a 400$ a month car payment ontop of having to buy the mods again. not a logical choice, for someone with logic in their user name.

i agree, you just built your motor. You said all it needs is a 02 sensor and a wire repair, you already went through all of the headaches, why not enjoy it.
