335xi

I’ll run him. You guys should really come down to the lot this weekend. As of late some of the quicker/faster cars on here have been leaving the lot for the night and taking spirited driving cruises down certain 3 laned roads

i dont talk to him but Dave does. If I decide to come down this weekend I will have dave give him a call.

drove it with the v3. silly fast. really starts to show its strenght around 90mph+

I will dig race both the evo and the 335… and throw in a white camaro ss for shits… and im turning the boost back up to 24… was on 22.5psi @ lvd for the 12.3 run

im down for anything tomorrow lol

im running at the valley on saturday deff wanna get some numbers out now. im lookin for a 12.1-12.3 :nod

do you really think a chip is going to drop more than a second off your time? :ponder :confused

yes it will… 335xi’s with JUST the Vishnu V3 chip are running low 12’s all day long trapping 110-112mph

yea it takes an entire second off. also in the near future i will have it lowered, tinted, and a catless exhaust on :thumb
and from what ive been reading with the exhaust i should be running high 11’s but i dont know

A chip adds 10MPH in trap? Does it have a LS1 embedded inside?

Also, let’s be clear. It doesn’t take off a second. It adds power. The ET should match up accordingly.

dude…on the 335’s they do.

yes it traps 10mph faster. the chip brings me up around 90-100 hp to the wheels and 100-110tq to the wheels. it upped my boost from the stock 8 or 9 psi to about 14 or 15 psi

Nice.

These big bang for buck mods are awesome. 112MPH traps is a definately a fun car.

The only thing is from the factory the turbos on that car are tiny and are already operating way out of there efficiency range in upper RPMs. The turbos were designed for almost 0 spool time off the line with about 7PSI max(if memory serves), not to be pushing 14PSI. There have already been multiple reports of people blowing there complete engine from over spinning the turbo and having it throw pieces of the compressor wheel into the engine.

Though it does make for quite a beastly car with very few mods. Pick up some catless downpipes as well and watch the car gain another 20+ RWTQ

I heard the same thing which makes me wonder where this 100AWHP is really at? .5BAR increase with some tune changes might do it but definately not across the powerband unless the extra timing is helping that much?

Well, its not a true 100AWHP as people dynoing there stock 335/135s are getting about 290ish RWHP so obviously the car comes with more than 300base HP

Here is a stock 135i…

And let me see if i can quickly find a procede V3…

On that graph is…
335xi - Stock. 93 octane: 278whp / 287wtq
335xi - PROcede V3, dual cone intake, catless. 93 octane: 366whp / 370wtq
335xi - PROcede v3, dual cone intake, catless. ~99octane: 385whp / 393wtq

Also here are a few pictures of the baby turbos, notice that the turbo and exhaust manifold is all one piece

impressive power if it really can gain that much from just a tune…

travis, i’m not “calling you out or anything”, but i honestly think you vs the 335xi from a dig OR a roll would be very, very close.
