Took a road trip back to Saratoga NY and over to CT over the independence day holiday. Still working on building photography skills and not too happy with how any of these came out - but still good enough to share.
I would love to see a 507 in person. Where was this?
The 507 is in the BMW exhibit at the Saratoga Auto Museum (http://saratogaautomuseum.org/) until fall.
All I see are dollar signs when looking at those race team setups, thanks for sharing the pics
Thanks for sharing
Amazing stuff!
Awesome pictures!
Love the paddock shots. The Saratoga is a great museum, small but the exhibits are quality. I went last year for the woodies exhibit and was impressed.
Your detail shots show a good eye.

Thanks.
I agree about Saratoga, it’s small but they get really high quality cars there and its always something new. The last exhibit was Porsches (see my other thread) and I was blown away by how many they actually flew in from Germany. Its a completely different feel from the Barber’s Motorsport museum (see my other thread) where its complete overload when you walk in the door, but once you’ve seen everything you are done and never need to go back.
However I wish they spaced them out at a bit more in Toga, I feel like every car is just jammed in a corner with a fire extinguisher and two other cars on top of it. You can’t walk around it and take it in. If they had some way to fix that it would really be one of the best.
I got a bit carried away with these pictures trying the low F* for the narrow depth of field but while it made a cool effect for the paddock shots it really messed up my pictures when the cars hit the track. I should have opened up the aperature and slowed down the shutter to get some motion blue and more in focus for the action shots. Better luck next time I guess - i’m still learning.
 The Warhol M1 is really impressive in person, saw it in Grand Central a few years back with 4 other art cars.
:tup:Great pics.
