Anyone here use this program at all? I just got it (needed it to open a file) and nothing that I’ve used it to open so far has worked. Always get an error saying “file is broken”. Anyone have any idea wtf thats all about?
never had a problem with rars or zip (atleast, not since pkzip/unzip :P) files… is this common? any known fixes? I did a google search and found a few people having the same problem but thats about it

If it’s a downloaded file clear your browser cache, and download it again. It’s rare but it can happen.
Otherwise sounds quite dead.

tried opening it with winrar before I even downloaded 7zip and didnt work (then again, I tried opening a file with the extension .001 or something similar opposed to the main file)
tried opening the main file and NO problems what so ever… bugs me that I’ve deleted a few gigs worth of those files thinking that they werent working though… 7zip FTL
Maybe you have a broken installation of 7zip? If you were using the beta try the stable version (or vice versa)
