Metallic Grey exterior, Red Stripe Bumpers, Grey Leather interior, Sport Seats with manual Tilt/Height adjustment, Sunroof, engine runs really well, 150,000 miles on odometer when it stopped working, it was taken off the road shortly after.
The Body has some rust, dents, and scratches, but paint is in good condition overall. The interior is very clean, with the exception of the worn leather on the driver’s seat (on the bolsters) and slightly sagging headliner. It hasn’t been on the road in over a year, but it was kept covered and was started and driven it up and down the street regularly.
New: Clutch and Clutch Cable, Power Steering Pump, Brakes (Calipers, Rotors, Pads, and Front Brake Lines), Exhaust System (including Catalytic Converter and O2 Sensor).
Needs: 1 door handle, a battery and a Driver’s Side Headlight Assy (Head light has water in it). Like most Mk2’s it needs the shift bushings replaced. (I have an extra shift bushing kit and headlight that we can negotiate into the purchase price. I might have the door handles too; I’d have to look.)
It has Pirelli P-Slots are on it now, but I’d really like to keep them for my GLI. So, you can pick her up on the cheap…if you supply your own wheels. You can use them to get her home, just bring them back.
