My car is pretty damn low (ripped my bumper off last week), but my wheel fitment is not really aggressive at all.

Yeah you can’t even put a finger between mine its about that close. it is all about having your fenders rolled really well really. Mine almost never rubs. It really makes no sense lol.

I have been in some cars that are way less slammed that rub. I am far from a suspension/wheel expert so someone else with the knowledge needs to clarify. But yeah I can get a flathead stuck between my rear tire and fender its so close. My fronts are about enough to uncomfortably put your pinky finger between them. Full tank of gas and four people in the car it MIGHT rub if im doin xxxmph and go over a bump 
well, when you go over bumps (depending on the suspension type), you actually get MORE clearance on some cars.
The fenders on the M3 above look REALLY pulled.
