kramerbuccs24, Once you learn the ways of Hypermiling, you can increase the mpg of any vehicle simply by pumping up the tires and driving it with fuel mileage in mind. My F150 only got 14 mpg it’s whole life. Now with my hypermiling experience, I decided to see what it could really do last weekend. I jacked the tires up to 46 psi, emptied all of the excess weight from the bed, then got on the Thruway, kept it under 65, and drafted some semi’s last weekend to NJ. The result? I got 20.6 mpg. That >25%!
Just like anything else, it takes practice.

P.S. I’ll be shooting for 70 mpg at this event with my Datsun B210. Going all out, with a full belly pan, 155/80R13 tires, all synthetic lubricants, lowered suspension, even Moon disc wheel covers for less drag.
