Ok, so my car is now running on AEM EMS(standalone). I am still using the stock injectors but I will be installing the turb on the 27th. The guy who sold me the EMS unit wants to sell me a AEM UEGO controller for $150. The only thing that I do not like about it, is there is no gauge. You must have a laptop to view the a/f ratio. I can get the Wideband w/ gauge for $270. Any one have any opinions on if I will need the wideband gauge etc…never had a wideband so I wouldn’t know how useful the gauge is needed?
I’ve worked with one before. They are ok, but for the money there are other DIY options out there that are better IMO
i have the AEM UEGO guage controller, its pretty slick

i have the UEGO gauge in the car. its a lot nicer than the one that is only viewable on a laptop. i think new they were around 350-400 bucks
