then u can go to the argument of power adders
and HP to weight ratios wtf
then u can go to the argument of power adders
and HP to weight ratios wtf
exactly…its a pointless agrument and shouldnt have even said any thing. its just gonna end up like every other agrument …probably import vs domestic
damn it dont say it, cause now it will be…
i hope your wrong
me too!!! u done cuttin urself?
its more impressive for a heavy vehicle to run equal or faster times then a vehicle thats lighter
and as for cylinders lets nto even go there since the fact that you add a power add that is a 100% of the stock rating of your motor then you just bascially doubled your cylinders. now do the same for a much large motor
IE… 140hp 1.8 litre now boost with 17psi [example] now makes 290 hp you just doubled your output just like doubling displacment
so take a take a 405 hp 5.7 and now boost it with 17psi [example] now makes 810hp you just did the same
anytime you double a motors output or triples it you are now similar to a NA larger cubed motor
yeah, now im just trying to get in these girls pants…they are so tight!
with your weight im sure you do fit in girls pants and youre always in black with black hair, man are you sure youre not EMO to begin with
hahahaha do they have little things of death written all over em? then that would be emo
I dont believe that how it works, my friend. i beleive it works on bars and atmospheric pressure
lets say you have a 2.0 and you push 14.7psi (1bar) you now have a 4.0L I am no ME but i dident think it was about power output rather then acual displacement
you knew whta i was getting at
just that the fact that is when anytime you encounter a 4 banger you always hear while you have more cubes or cylinders but the fact is youre comparing totally different vehicles
weight is off be an average 1k
then you have NA over boost
and of course displacement
say put Ryans motor in a chassis that is 3500lbs see what it does, put Justin’s old motor in a 2500lb chassis. will they be the same times? no
now put my old motor in Justins chassis will it run faster then what it did in my 4600lb chassis? YES
same thing as putting a 160hp 998cc motor in a 1500lb chassis it now becomes a rocket
:blah:
since i had both V8’s and 4 bangers i think its more impressive to see the little motors make more power, hence why i havnt driven a V8 for years. when you talk about weight dont forget you V8 guys make allll that torque to get that weight moving, so you at least will have that bragging point.
dont forget the roots. everything is horsepower to weight, its been that way for years,i.e. 427 ac cobra, hemi darts, big block vettes, even look at the new vette tons of hp and lightweight, thats where its at and always will be. its your fault you choose to build a heavy truck so dont complain because people were smarter to build lighter stuff.
i farted
ok i am confused?
ET VS MPH VS HOW much is weighs? vs how much power it makes
so there is a formula to being impressive
is it like ETx(power/weight)= coolness
wasent aware!
i dont think it comes down to choosing light bodys to go fast, or that being smarter. it comes down to power output…and mainly power to weight. its easier to make lighter things move faster but its also easier to make big power on bigger motors, like puttin twin turbo 408 in a big truck, or the 4000lb bugatti that has 1000+hp W16
weight really shouldnt be an issue…cuz power can be made to make up for the excess weight.
that said tho, i’m a fan of lightweight cars and big motors
it stinks
it proably smells like the mens locker room at the YMCA
:owned:
no its more foul than that…it smells like…:asshole
