He used to do INSANE rope jumps, though.
The shoes have a sticky combound and you climb with your ass out to get more shoe surface area on the rock and better traction.
Iāve climbed and had to let go and jump to reach a spot. Even with a rope itās scary. He did it a few times free climbing! Holy fuck.
Yeah thatās what I found crazy, the physics of going no-hands and getting enough traction to push that hard for a jump is unreal. Super badass
