All I know about local hip hop is “Steel Gifted” (2 white dudes) SUCK. That’s all I’ve really heard.

wiz kalifa

i like local hip-hop. i have a cd from stucc-he was produced by lavad arrington, and a group from 97% entertainment…most pgh rap is trying to be too gangsta…it might work when they are rapping in a different city, but half the stuff i heard pgh rappers say is total b.s. if its a good lyrical cd, ill get it. i like lyrics-canibus, rakim, boot camp, chino xl. if he flows with that style, its something id listen to. if its like lil jon, young buck/jeezy, 50 cent, or any other radio rap, ill save my $$.
and where are u from exactly?? i grew up on cali ave…l.

Grandbuffet and Shamus or something like that was someone I remember from years ago when i was in college my first year.

NO its not like anything u heard b4 he is INSANE…and Fuck WIZ…hes a FAKE, hes not from PGH, yrt Reps the city. hes from North Dakota. hes a good rapper but hes fake as Pam Andersons Tittys.

S-Class has a Diss track about him #5 on “Cant knock the hustle” Kills em.

ANY ONE LISTEN TO ANY TRACKS ON HIS MYSPACE

im his manager/producer.

“IM BACK” is the 1st single.

I love hip hop. but not rap, which in my opinion, is what this gentleman’s sound clearly is. don’t get me wrong, he’s got a good sound, just not my taste. best of luck with his career and everything that goes with it.

thanks man. every1 is intiteled to there opinion lol

were hopin to make it big soon. But were takin it 1 step @ a time. we sell “S-Class” shirts, hoddies, fitted hats ect. we promote ALL the time. & have talkeed to Dj’s in NY about doin Nationwide mixtapes.

like i said…1 step @ a time…1 step @ a time lol

thanks to every1 for the feedback…ALWAYS looking for more though lol

how the hell can anyone be influenced by sell outs like jay-z or 50 cent? what about kool g or ace? or eric b or eric sermon? shit that actually was rap and was hiphop, not radio play garbage

yawn

As soon as I saw the myspace account I should have known. However Sunday night is reserved to finding new music so I gave your buddy a shot. Every song is ass, some of the lyrics are somewhat catchy but lose all the nigga this and nigga that shit. The beats are pretty beat. How hard is it to come up with something new thats actually catchy? Your buddy has some potential with his lyrics but really I don’t see him getting out of the burgh. I know mixtapes are hot and what not, I have many friends that get mix tapes to so called dj’s and blah blah. Those 4 songs I could barely stand listening to the first minute. You have to make the person want to listen to the whole song, instead I am sure most just hit the FFWD button.

Good luck though!

Here are two of my buddies from PGH:

we have rap battles every saturday at taco bell… i go by the name E

I’d love to see someone from Pittsburgh make it big in hip hop, but all the shit out now sucks… all the bounce/snap/crunk music that’s been created.

Slightly OT, but has anyone paid any notice to the song with Ludacris and Kid Rock? I thought music took a shit in the early 2000’s with rap rock (Limp Bizkit etc…) but now it’s “Rock Rap” that’s coming on, and it’s terrible.

i only fuck wit my boys. http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=14165905 flackside 242

rappers + myspace = gay.

:eek3:

I remember Strict Flow and 412

:whitey:

every song is the same hook, verse, hook , verse, hook, verse. could have some potential but needs to develop more of a style.

My boy OMAR A I put together a show for November 7th in greensburg.
Let me know if any one is interested in mor details. He is more R&B, Wrote, produced and sang this album.
