So i’m getting that tach most likely, and I was wondering, does it work without the Defi controller box of some sort?
its a 5.5" defi d-link series
anyone have experience with these?

if its a link gauge which it is, u need the control box, which is about 200, i personally think a big tach like that is super lame and pointless. your stock tach is fine, at most mayeb a shift light.
they are called defi link meter, defi d-gauge is a totally different gauge

The tach is a 4.5". You will need the defi link unit. The nice part about that is almost all of your wiring is consolidated then
