I have a rare ARC Side Mount Intercooler for an SR20DET. Used it on my S13, should work for an S14 as well. It is a lot thicker than the stock one. ARC is a highly respected brand and are famous for their intercoolers.

This intercooler is a direct bolt on replacement. This SMIC is rated to 300hp. I made 269whp / 258wtq @ 14 PSI on an ARC SMIC. It would benefit from proper additional ducting.

SMICs are great if you plan on tracking your car as there is no front mount intercooler to block airflow towards your radiator. I could lap all day @ 13 psi with no overheating problems.

Amazing affordable upgrade that would take minutes to install.

Sells for $1000 brand new. There’s one on EBAY right now selling for about $430 CAD shipped to Canada.

Bump! By the way, I also now have my aluminum hot pipe with an HKS SSQV flange on it as well as an aluminum cold pipe that has an opening for an IAT/AIT sensor. Available for sale.
