And no where is that more apparent than in the morgage mess right now. I couldn’t believe how much my wife and I pre-qualified for when we were shopping for our house. Had we taken a loan for anywhere near the amount they would give us we’d be living in an empty house and sharing one beater vehicle while eating cat food and government cheese. But man, would we have a sweet house.
