damn…i wish i had that kinda money to drop on one…lol
if I lived somewhere nice like florida or southern california and i rode bikes i could definitly justify the price tag but in upstate ny its kind of unnecessary
yea…that would be justifiable
A kid i know that used to live up here got accepted to Arizona State University and he traded his dad his 03 Saab 9 3 for his dad’s Impala and drove to Arizona. When he got there he sold the car and bought a bike, he said they get like .7 inches of rain a year or some shit. :nuts
haha…and i wish we didnt get so much rain and snow
It very much is worth 16k, easily.
16k really isnt bad when you consider the gsxr 1000 is goin for like 12xxx bone stock…and i would deff take the 1098 over a gsxr
I like the term “Base model” for a bike which means
“Not that fast but still fast enough own your viper”
Ill take 2 please!
its for sale and about 2 miles up the raod from my house at the LBF shop
yeah how much
alot, idk the number offhand, the thing is nuts, the gas tank in in the swingarm, the fake gas tank is a lexan and you can see the throttle bodys from the top, the clutch is on a twist throttle on the left grip, air shifter controls are up on the bars as well as a diff brake set up, the actual brakes are on the parimeter of the rim, and of course lexan wheels. The exhaust is a custom stealth box under the bike Its also one of the first bikes to have air suspension in the rear AND the front end. He had the body painted in that normal gold pewter so the paint work wouldnt take away from the ideas he had as a custom one-off builder to showcase his abilitys.
Jeff, only you would take 2 of a 1 of a kind bike :headbang :headbang
that thing makes baby jesus cry.
not so much innovation as flashy pointless mods
pointless yes, but thats not the idea, all of the stuff done to the bike is made custom one-off buily for that bike, nothing was bought as is
that sounds like a respectable amount of work in any case.
although looking at the pic makes me wonder if it can even turn, and what happened to the seat ;D
if you’re gonna put in so much effort into custom fabrication, why not actually make it into an entirely different bike that’s rideable
as opposed to stretched out/blinged out/lowered but still recognizable gsxr
so build another to not make it one-of-a-kind : :
