being black makes you more likely to die in a motorcycle accident.

Newman nailed it…

Hehe.

dis rite herr

Man baby girl, ima rev my busa so hard yo pantys gonna leak dolla billz.

Yup… unfortunate, but true.

I’m not adding anything else. I don’t want to sound like an asshole.

I was talking to my black rider friend a couple years ago, telling him about real riding boots and how protective they are. I told him if he had on boots “like these” he probably wouldn’t have broken his ankle a the prior year. He tells me “MAAAAANNNNN, if I had those (riding boots) on, I wouldn’t have gotten paid!!!”

The authors hypothesize that the disparity may be due to differences in levels of health care before and after the accidents: lack of health insurance, less access to or poorer quality of critical care, and a higher rate of pre-existing conditions may make recovery after a crash more complicated for blacks.

It’s also possible that black motorcyclists prefer wearing less-protective helmets or riding more dangerous bikes. Researchers won’t know without further study.

Basically it’s another reason we should give everyone taxpayer funded health care… oh, and maybe helmets too. :uhh:

But the study has no way to gauge a riders predisposition to risky activity… which everyone here keeps pointing out (in a not so eloquent way) seems like the obvious reason. Stereotypes aside, everyone knows blacks are more likely to grow up in poorer socioeconomic conditions and therefore take more “risks.” I really hope they don’t need “further study” to figure that out.

god every black stereotype is true from being loud in movies to sickle cell anemia

every fucking minority isnt baller until their bike is a quadruple jetpack turbo 1300cc
