I just saw on Tv that Gap, Banana Republic, and Old Navy will be open on Thanksgiving Day at noon. LOL They will do anything to beat the competition to your money. I am not sure if WNY locations will be open.
Best Buy started a lot of their Black Friday sales at midnight yesterday. Picked up a whirlpool stainless fridge/stove/dishwasher/over the range microwave and front-loading LG washer and dryer all for around $2200 delivered :eek:
I think BF is funny and interesting, but at the same time it makes me kind of sick and sad.
I try to convince myself that it’s mostly people just in it for the hunt, and our society isn’t actually this pathetic and materialistic.

I said it last year I will say it this year; Buy gift certificates for things made here in the USA. This includes restuarants, ski resorts, golf courses, locally crafted jewelry, furniture, messages, haircuts, etc, etc, etc.
What fridge did you get? I’ve been looking for a while and I think the best deal I can find is a Samsung (French) at Sears for $1500.
There is an Electrolux(sp) at Best Buy (Side by Side) for $1200 I wouldn’t mind.
I have a Samsung French door and I love it. It has the water dispenser on the inside (nice flush look on the outside), ice in the freezer. We got ours on a sick deal at sears for 1250. If you’re shopping at sears, go find out about “friends and family night” too. We have done really well over there on appliances. Just got a SICK SS gas range for like 800 bucks.

I did the “$650 off combined purchase” deal. I wanted a side-by-side becuase being a single guy I cook a lot of frozen shit and needed the extra freezer space.
