Dam! Looks just like my old one minus the red interior and backflip damage that is. For those concerned about price of parts… I rebuilt the whole front end on mine when i had it minus the brakes, and the cost was actually about 15 bucks cheaper then what a friend paid for the whole front end on his explorer (control arms BJ’s shocks etc). As for winter driving I dont believe the 323 had an LSD in the back. In fact im almost positive that it does not. i do believe the 330 came with one however (quick swap if you are motivated). Winter driving is actually pretty easy but id strongly suggest winter tires. Simply because on unplowed roads the abs would kick on rather fast because nothing drives the front wheels except for the momentum of the car and friction between tires and road. As for gas mileage; I regularly got 28-32mpg mixed, and thats with a small case of lead foot here and there. When babied and kept at around 45-50mph you can almost get in the high 30’s. In all honesty if i saw this post 6 months from now I wouldnt be typing, id be buying.
FYI, I have a 325ci and as far as winter driving - snow tires and sandbags FTW!!! good luck with sale!!! Makes me wanna sell mine…
