Congrats
Thanks guys. I have a crap-ton of work to do before I really can retail stuff. Work on the building at lot, work on all the current cars. Its going to be exhausting, but worth it. I hope i’ll be able to help anyone out that needs it!
Congrats!
Congrats
congrats mang.
I see a hatchback. what year and model.
thanks all.
phyre… I think all thats in there are my 2 EK’s. the Midori Green auto and my red shell
Congrats, I know the dealer license gets you access to new markets.
Any Jeeps, or late model BMWs?
This guy seems to buy mildly damaged Jeeps, take the yellow insurance paint off, wash them, and sell them, still with a salvage cert.
http://daveysjeeps.com/repairables.html I bet doing the title work would let him charge more, but it seems like he’s able to move them without doing much work at all.
haha, i’ve delt with him for years now. great to deal with and seems to always have what your looking for.
I’m not going to buy much junk/salvage stuff. I’ll definitly be running adessa’s and manheim’s as-is sales.
Congrats Bro!

How long did it take you? And was there alot to do to get them?
Well, its hard to really say. I had a lot of time in getting everything ready for the actual license to send in. If you count all my r&d plus the state’s time, it was about 3 months. The state’s time in processing it was actually quick, maybe 3-4 weeks total?
There is a good amount of stuff you have to do. Moreover, I’m starting with a newly purchased building that I had to wait on city stuff with… insurance, lease, occupancy permit, etc. If you are established and want to ‘add’ the dealers license, you should have a lot of it already present to gather and send in.
It also takes a good messenger service that knows what to look for that the state nit-picks. My notary gave me some new pictures to take and saw a flaw in the copy of my insurance. So, I took care of that and it went through amazingly smooth.
congrats and good luck man
Thanks for the info. I was thinking about trying to get them. But I was just looking to do something small from my house. Just to move some cheap $1000-$1500 cars. Just for something to do really, and make a few extra bucks.
the dealership must be seperated from any adjoining business or residence
from the application instructions
Well technically, by my standards, not theirs, it is. As the business would be ran out of my garage, not my house. But I not sure how they would see that.
a garage is part of your residence… i mean when you sell your house, you don’t also put up a for sale for your garage…lol
You have to take pictures on top of that to actually show that. Luckily, my appartment is hidden in the back :shhh:
