Hahahahahaha yes it really did. My first time at the track I just left it in D and hit it. No clue wtf I was doing and actually let off for a moment cause I looked back and the other guy hadn’t gone anywhere. People were walking out to help push it so he must have broken something instantly but I thought for a second I wasn’t supposed to go or something.
That was with the H.O. stuff, I swapped that on a couple years ago. According to my g-tech anyhow, it currently matches a stock fox stang, 0-60 anyway. That run was also terrible because the AODs in these clearly are a lot mushier, the shifts were dreadfully long. Baumann kit late this summer took care of that very nicely. It chirps the tires with an 1/8th pedal at 20 mph going into 2nd :excited:lol The other far more important thing obviously is that it’s an absolute pig. 3640 lbs at the town dump scale with me in it and 5 gallons of gas.
Hey man, welcome to the site, I saw you at Poppy’s once also.
I wonder if anyone here who’s been to Poppy’s was there this summer any of the like 2 or 3 nights this GORGEOUS chick and her mom rolled in in a '67 I think black firebird 'vert with keystones. Damn.
dont recall seeing that, all i remember besides yours and the dude with the vette was a black/gold 442 that i fell in love with:hug
Yeah that guy has a green one two and a bike. That gold one is sweet, and I hang out with him a lot, actually when they showed up hes like “alright you take her and I’ll go for mom” hahaha :rofl
haha, the gold one is nice too, but i was referring to the 85 442 black, with the gold stripe package, i shall roll through there this summer and give his olds some competition…
Nice buick. My ex girlfriends grandfather built a 33 Dosoto coupe. Her grandmother brings it there once in a while (poppy’s). If shes not drving that, shes got the vette.
