Look online at progress and seagull lighting for your new chandeliers and I can get them for you at cost. Most lighting has MASSIVE markups into the residential market.
Fucking nice looking. Prices on homes up there not so much. I wil take my 95k home I bought 7 years ago that is worth 165 now and when its paid off in 7 years buy a condo in Fl anyday. I cant justify buying a 600k home just because of location to a big city, traffic, etc. I really do like how your home is coming along though, looks great.

we’re doing okay on our current place. hopefully the folks moving in next month dont trash it.
okay we’re nearing the end of this whole fiasco…
the team will be complete on friday giving us a few days to clean up some of the rooms and partially move in… the moving company is coming next week and the Granite guys are too… they templated out both kitchen and the master bath yesterday.

The tile work is all being done by a couple italian guys literally fresh from the motherland. this is one of their first jobs in Canada and they do not yet speak much of any English

Looks great @bing. I’m in the process of planning my kitchen renovation and I like the extendable pot filler option, it’s a nice touch. What color countertop are you going with, not sure if you mentioned it?
We are also going with white cabinets, but I’m going to throw a glaze on mine just to add some character.
the granite joint calls it “ice brown” but that’s all i can tell you.
I’ll put a pic up next week when it’s in.
Something else i can’t really capture in the pics is that the bank of cabinets in the middle where the sink is are dark brown rather than white… i guess to contrast… so not everything is white.
The range knobs are specifically red to match my car and GMT though… i bought them with paypal #notreally
I’ve been pricing out a butcher block option for my island. Ikea is expensive compared to Lumber Liquidators, but they can’t get them in until end of April/May at the soonest. Pinterest tells me that I can make my own, but I don’t know about all that…
yeah now that everyting is in place we have a lot of room in the centre, enough for something small… more like a cart rather than an island… but these are not my decisions and i am told we already have ‘something’
