Well last week ended up well at canterbury minnesota with a 3rd in Pro stock, and 5th in Pro open… ive been trying to calm down crash less and finish races, so its going alright.
Last sunday i flew to aspen, then drove to 30miles east of Park City Utah to do some testing. I barely ever get a chance to powder ride living in buffalo so i was definitely excited to go shred threw the tree’s… ill have the pics up next week. Right before we got there it dropped 5 feet of fresh powder on Daniel Summit (the resort we stayed at) so it was a a blast tearing around the mountains.
Currently im sitting in the athlete lounge at winter X waiting around to practice on saturday, then race on sunday. ill update the time when i know for sure tomorrow.
-But if you like Snox check out the freestyle tonight at 9pm eastern on espn or espn2 not really sure which one. They were going off in the quailifiers and its going to be a crazy final

and yeah i got screwed pretty bad, but thats racing i guess… i was extremely pissed yesterday but im over it now.
The track was pretty fun though… i love that track because everything is just huge compared to the normal season, so its always a good time. That “talladaga corner” or whatever they were calling it was actually really cool. When it wasn’t super rough you could shoot into the top and it would suck you into the seat. Definitely cool to have something different like that.
This next weekend im racing at Farmington NY at the Horse Track; The races are Fri, Sat so stop out if you can. Friday is Pro Stock, and Saturday is Pro Open.
goodluck this weekend. ill have to see if i can get out to that one again this year.

so the year turned out alright with 7th overall in ProOpen. Pretty Decent for my second year Pro. Anyways after the season last yr i got invited to do an international race over seas in Mala’ Sweden for team USA. This year again i was invited and choose to go again. Heres a ton of pics threw-out the trip… the last section of pics is by far the coolest

We flew from minneapolis to amsterdam to stockholm to shelfftea sweden.
our rental cars, we had two…
the roads are gnarly ice and everyone goes so fast… seriously the person we were suppose to “follow” never had his slammed audi under 120k on ice roads
so after we got there we stayed 40 miles from Mala’ at the VW owned hotel and test track. Its where VW tests all there winter performance street vehicles, as does Audi.
We weren’t allowed to take any pictures of the place… but it wasn’t anything crazy just alot of european speaking old dudes driving new Audi’s …
So heres a bunch of pics from the Race… its a heat the 3 Final format . I Qualified to the finals, but in the second one crashed really hard and hyperextended my right elbow while passing for third, so i couldn’t finish out the day…lame but heres pics from the race

so after the race there’s a huge party late at night in the hockey arena… it was basically a big concert
random swed’s… so many girls who come up and say “omg are you american” …um yes i am “wow i love american, may we speak american with you”… they never get to speck english after school was done so they were all excited…

heres a very hungover jared (my mechanic) the next morning… hah he puked all day

So after the race weekend was over we stayed in shelleftea for the night before we flew back to stockholm then to Amsterdam for a night

So im sure a few people have herd of the red light district… its fun to walk threw and see how crazy it is. They tweak out if you try to snap a pic but we managed to get one.
Its 50bucks anything you want, ive never tried it… but buddys have said it nuts

Okay so heres the best part of the trip. Last year i got to ride in a orange 550hp gt3 full track car out on the ice. This year they had a similar ice track set up for us but they had a gt3, gt3rs, and carrera for US to drive. Last year i only got to rid in one this year we got to do whatever the hell we wanted.
the same driver from last year was there again and gave this speech before hand.
“okay im very excited to have all you drivers here with us today. We have three cars you can drive a stock Carrera, a 350hp Gt3, and a 450hp Gt3rs. I want everyone here to experience all that these cars offer so make sure you drive them all. there is no time limit so have fun… make sure you look out for other cars coming up on you, and be very aggressive. And dont worry shit happens”

when i get the other pics of us driving etc ill post them. This was the coolest experience of my life, and i will own a porsche someday soon because of it. We have some videos of us on the track too somewhere… i need to find them
