Some butcher tried to re-inforce with sistered 2 x 6’s for the hip but didn’t run full length, bolts sheared right through. Warned him it would happen eventually, and it did. My accountant isn’t the shoveling type.
person down my street garage collapsed, the news was there… funny they said it was related to snow. Too bad she was on drugs and drunk and came home and smashed into the garage and took it out with her SUV. But why would the news actually know what happened?
My garage was getting close to falling down last year so I demo’d it before it crushed something. It was repaired similarly by the previous owner. All the wood he put in was good, too bad he spiked it to rotten stuff.
