Bunch of home audio equipment

Up for sale is a bunch of used audio stuff that I’ve had around for a while. It is all in excellent condition, other than a few somewhat minor items that I will detail in the individual descriptions.

First off is my former home theater receiver. It’s an Onkyo HT-R560. I bought an Onkyo HT-S5100 HTIB (home theater in a box) package from Amazon.com in July of 2008. This is the receiver that came with the system. I absolutely loved the system. Did everything I wanted it to. I only had 2 problems with it:

  1. It would only pass video through the HDMI ports. A separate audio connection is still required.
  2. An issue with every Onkyo receiver, all the way up to their $2k receivers, is that zone 2 output only works with an analog input. So if you have something connected to the receiver using coax in, or optical audio in, you will not be able to hear it through zone 2 speakers, if of course, you’re running a zone 2.
Other than that, it’s fantastic. I just have too many components running, and had to be able to use HDMI for video and audio.
It also comes with remote, and iPod dock.
Here is a link for the manual for the system:

    $150 takes it.

Next up is a Kenwood center channel and 2 front channel speakers. All 3 are 120W, 8 ohm. They’re about…jeez, 10 years old now? They work fine. I really can’t find any other information about them online, so they’re speakers and they work.

$50 for all 3.

If you want the whole package, bring me $225 and it’s yours. Don’t try to lowball on the package. It’s good stuff for that money.

This reciever is designed specifically to work best with the speakers that came with the set. Do you still have the speakers?

I still have the speakers, but they’re connected to my newer Onkyo receiver.

FWIW, the speakers that came with the 5100 set are 8 ohm. The speakers I’m selling are also 8 ohm. The receiver can deal with them just fine, and be able to set levels perfectly using the included Audyssey 2eq capability and microphone.

^ correct, everything will work more than just fine.

bump

Willing to sell the ipod dock by itself?
I would also need to figure out if it would work with my 607

I got an offer on it by itself already, however I’ll save you some research. This definitely does not fit the 607. That’s what I bought to replace this, and the connector is completely different.
