I’m in the market for a new pressure washer, don’t know much about them…looking for any input on brands/features/etc. I will be using it to clean garage floor, siding (2 story house), vinyl fence, etc. Looking to spend ~$300-400.
I was at Lowes and was checking out these models…one with a Briggs and Stratton motor, the other with a Honda.

My parents got a power washer a few years ago with a Honda GCV160 engine… Some idiot decided to not put the oil in, and ran it dry for about 2 hours until it sized. I added the oil it came with, broke it loose with a breaker bar on the flywheel, and it still runs. But it does idle like crap.
Not sure how helpful that is, but id probably go with the Honda over the Briggs.
Ive used 3-4 different types. Definatly dont cheap out on buying one. I had a gas powered one for a couple years, the thing I hated bout it besides having to gas it up was thati was always burning hoses on the damn exhaust! Ive had a couple electric ones and prefer them over the gas powered for ease of use. My 1750psi electric Husky brand im using now was pretty fair priced and has never failed me and gets most odd jobs like you described accomplished.
