CALLOUTS for PittSpeed vs. NYSpeed Drags ($$$?)

Nice. I like see a modded vette, and one with high miles at that. My car just has a stroke ford small block, pump gas, 3.73s, 5 speed not but I’m switching to a 6 speed this winter.

Hmm… I don’t see that going well for me, but wtf why not. I’m game.

I will run all over that

I’ll let him know to gear up for you haha

I’d run you but my 7.3 isn’t that fast, just runs forever

I don’t think that would be wise of you. My setup today is not my setup of tomorrow.

Cool. Looks like a fun car. 6 speeds are great. Will the 6 speed conversion give you a second over drive or lower 1st gear?

Well I will have the bottle on the car next year, but I do not know how much faster your new setup will be…

First gear will basically be the same. I will has 2 ODs now, but the biggest reason for switching is strength. My current T-5 even with upgraded gears is only reated at 400lbs at the flywheel…I don’t know how I didn’t break the inputshaft this year but I’m not going to test my luck anymore. T-56 magnum will be going in this winter.

hmmmm

and do you have a t56 magnum yet?

negative. I still have to purchase it.

i dont know what tr6060’s go for…

how much you willing to spend?

Buddy has a 2006 cummins 5.9, six speed free mods and a smarty. He would be in for the diesel trucks. Tyler is his name, he’s never been to the 1/4 mile track yet. Not even to watch. So how much money you want to try and hustle is up to you.

I plan on buying the kit from D&D performance. a t6060 uses a hydrolic clutch I believe, my car has a cable. a t56 magnum uses t6060 internals in a t-56 case. I have not heard of anyone putting a t6060 in a sn95 mustang yet. I believe the shifter location on the t6060 does not work with a sn95, but I could be wrong.

shifter location should be in the same location as the pre07 corvettes came with a t56 and the 08+ came with a tr6060. but i forgot about your cable predicament… i don’t have anything for you there. lol.

A stock bottom end with a 150,xxx miles, pump gas/meth and a stock 5 speed. She’s not going to set any records.

Semi-updated build thread.

i will race you with my 6 speed car

i creeped your build thread earlier right before we merged lol, i didnt remember it was your username though.
welcome to the highmile club :stuck_out_tongue: mines around the same miles , stock 6bolt… it’s not together though :frowning:

Weird to see talk of T56 Magnums in SN95s in two places in two days when I’d never heard of it before this. Local guy’s planning on doing the same. Maybe you two can help each other or something.

This would probably be something fun to bring the E30 to… but chances of getting me to a track are slim, lol.

i’m in to run someone. i’ll be running a bigger turblo by then.

i will race your pos. if they let me race with no cage and lap belts.
is your car a street car?

That guy got the same kit I’m going to buy, except I’m opting for the other gear ratio set. 2.97, 2.10, 1.46, 1.00, .74, .50 1st-4th are very close to what I have, and 5th-6th will be nice bec my current 5th is .62 which leaves me a void between 43-53 mph with no goo gear choice. and as the guy says in that thread these things hold a ton of power so it will work well for my car on spray.
