Canadian Hacker Arrested

Guy was rollin’ since 7th grade. Drove a BMW 7 series in high school. 22 years old now and arrested for hacking.

Although it’s not clear he made all his money from crime. Reports say he made “$100 per email account” from “more than 80 email accounts, including 50 Google accounts” which doesn’t pay for much.

… Baratov has, at various times in the past five years, affixed his “Mr Karim” vanity license plate to an Aston Martin, a Porsche, an Audi, a Lamborghini, a Mercedes Benz and three BMWs.

“At 14 I was making more than both of my parents combined. At 15 I got my first million,” he writes.

The home was listed for sale two days ago for about $930,000 but was abruptly delisted Wednesday.

Anytime you’re hacking shit and converting it back to cash you’re going to get caught it’s just a matter of time.

The exception is just find some country that doesn’t care and/or doesn’t have extradition with the US.

If he’s liquidating assets I’ll take his cat.
