So our house is now 6 years old and have a few spots where the carpet has lifted/buckled. It’s mainly in the hallway upstairs, a few spots in the bedrooms too. Heard it could be due to installation methods, humidity levels and various other things.
Looking to see if anyone on here does carpet restreching, or “know’s someone” they could refer me to have it done. What does something like restreching run cost wise? Hoping to have it done soon.
I had Bill Schmitt in my house replacing some carpets and we discussed re stretching some other areas. I didn’t bother as we just ripped them out and replaced but he said it was no problem to do. He and his team did a fantastic job installing the new carpets. They are close to you as well. Schmitts Carpet Service: 432-2870
I have a close friend that does this for a living and has for many years. He works in high end new build homes, football players houses, and hockey players houses. But still does normal carpet work too. Jimmy 716-982-6676
