The resale should be great on the GT because they don’t pass 2006 US standards so from what I read NO MORE will be coming stateside.

Talk about limited production!

I want to see one in person…pretty hot car

That is the gayest thing I have ever heard. Why rob us of such a cool car??

91eclipsegs likes these 2;

(ill admit they were pretty impressive in person)

When I was growing up in the 80s and learning about European cars I learned that we miss out on all of the fast cars.
Europe never had the safety and enviornmental standards the US had.
The euro cars had no cats, lighter bumpers, etc.
In other words a 911 in Europe was lighter and more powerful.

That’s correct, Porsche halted production of the car at 1250 units, rather than the original 1500. Actually, I do know that some people are pissed about the resale value, despite being richer than I can imagine. I know if I bought an (almost) 500k car and people were having trouble selling them for $400k I’d be pissed. Alot of them are sitting on showroom floors. Hell Champion Porsche just got the last shipment of CGT’s into the country.

11 of them in one room!

Fortunately we don’t live in Canada. They are really strict about their safety there. I remember seeing the Audi TT at the Toronto Auto Show a few years ago. I have always been a big fan of the TT and its design. Well the Canadian version has two body colored “blocks” on the front and back bumpers that totally ruin the body lines of the car.

EDIT:
Small pic but you get the idea.

That is why there are no Evolutions in Canada.(5mph bumpers)

wow thats awesome, such a hot car :droooool:

Even though thats what most people would like to think, its wrong. Rich people go bankrupt all the time because of the shenanigans they buy. There is that .5% of the population however that can tie bricks to the gas pedal and watch it cruise over a cliff.

Hawt.

x…

:word: Rich people didn’t get that way from buying half million dollar cars.

canada does have the advantage of bringing over whatever they want long as its 15 years or older. I’m jealous, I could have so many cool cars if I just lived in canada

What would you get if you lived there?

e30 325xit for winter. skyline. euro e36 m3. s13. the list goes on and on
people who are into cosworths could have that.

I bet seeing that car helped brighten your day Ak

210mph? I dunno. on the 90 there’s a few straights where my slow ass car can make it to 115, surely a beast like that can get to 210.

Yeah, but their stupid pedestrian laws will put an end to good looking cars over there…

Oh, and I think black is the best color on the CGT…
