I think we can all agree that we are mostly joking when we say that Sheen is winning. I don’t condone drug use, but I also don’t judge people who do use drugs (i’m no hyporcrit). What I do condone is him going on TV and speaking his mind. No sugar coated apologies to get his job back. Just the truth. “I was banging 7 gram rocks and finishing them”. Fucking bravo for telling America what really went down. Also, thank you for not giving us a fake apology. Not like that little bitch Tiger Woods. Although, it would have been hilarious if he did the same thing Sheen did and just told everyone what went down with those sluts.
Sometime telling the truth hurts you, but it’s healthy to get it all out in the open.
i dont see Charlie Sheen’s behaviour as being mutually exclusive of being a good parent… There is certainly a correlation, but kids shouldnt be taken away because their father is ‘probably insane’. There should be evidence of significant abuse or neglect before doing so.
moreover, i can see having Charlie Sheen as a father being a source of massive pride for the children as they grow up depending on how Charlie manages his decline. Did Sinatra’s, Jagger’s and Richard’s kids grow up to be any less messed up than you would expect them to be? probably not.
age is certainly a consideration being that the kids are so young, but in the end i wouldnt be holding much against him based on what we hear through the media filter.

But honestly he was on a serious bender. He was likely not EVER in any reasonable state to be caring for children. Being a parent is a full-time job. It’s not like you can wake up, be a parent for 4 hours, then start taking drugs for hours on end until mid-day the next day and repeat.
Rock stars have a whole different life anyways. They are on the road touring SOOOO much. They have a wife at home caring for their children. For the rare time they are home, they are probably still partying quite a bit but again, the wife is there to be the parent.
A man on drugs and alcohol everyday is not a parent.
Yeah just because his kids got taken away it doesn’t mean he’s a bad parent.

my closest friends and / or family that were charged and convicted of crimes related to spousal or partner abuse did not commit the specific acts they were accused of. Technicalities or the fact that the chick will be charged with obstruction of justice if she admits to lieing mean that the police are willingly complicit in the erroneous conviction.
hypersensitivity leads to accusations of all sorts related to spousal abuse, parental neglect and racial issues… for example, how calling someone by their jewish name makes you anti-semetic.
just because social services takes a specific action doesnt mean it’s in the best interest of anyone. It’s simply a matter of procedure and judgement should be reserved until you know the facts, or if you will never know the facts then withold judgement indefinitely. for example in this case 
i always get into this with people when they assume shit… for example, if i get into a car accident people will simply assume i was speeding and therefore at fault because i tend to drive quickly… and yet every accident i’ve been in i was travelling the speed limit and was hit by someone else… which is why i drive quickly…, oh catch 22
bing, I know you don’t want to judge anyone without having the facts first, and I respect that. However, with the state that Sheen was in, it’s a 95% chance that he was unfit to be parenting children.

Agree with others. Remove the kids from the situation entirely, and what he’s doing is awesome if that’s what he wants to do.
