Charlie Sheen

eh, i wasnt really thinking about this particular issue as a Sheen issue… just acknowledging the double-standard of how in the home, with respect to children or anything else in the marriage, the woman’s word is golden. I’m okay with that, you just can’t automatically assume that it’s true. That fact that it was the cops supports my point i think.

Wasnt it on nyspeed where they had the phone call from the basketball player’s GF who said he stole her car… but it was in his name… oh, well he hit me !!! RU SURE?? Yup!!! okay we’re sending officers to arrest him now…

Yeah, definitely a double standard. The father/husband is always the bad guy.

This time though I don’t have much trouble believing that to be the case. But either way I’m still glad he’s not trying to feed people a fake apology. That part’s cool.

It is not the Police Officer’s job to determine if anyone is guilty or not. That is the court’s job. In the bball player’s case, the cops arrest him or bring him in for questioning, he is released on bail hours later. The case then goes to court, and when the bitch has zero evidence of violence, it would probably just end with a restraining order.

Being arrested and being convicted are two totally different things.

We’re not even touching on the effects of cocaine on the brain. The long term use turns you …well… into what he is now, erratic, panicky, paranoid, delusional, etc. Not to mention the amount of cocaine that comes out his skin and into his children’s bodies when he touches them.

Sure but what are the effects on your life from being arrested in front of people who know and respect you? Not to mention having to defend yourself for something that you didn’t do.

Isn’t there talk of trying to impose a fine for when you try to sue someone, and fail? That would help this sue-happy society we live in.

yeah, definitely

I think I may be partially wrong though. Based on watching the show cops, not every man accused of hitting his wife is arrested on the spot. Cops are definitely allowed to use some judgement and analyze the situation. If there is any suspicion of truth in the claim though, I don’t blame them for making the arrest.

in many cases, “better safe, than sorry” is the right thing to do.

didn’t his wife say that he had 47 registered weapons in his house? and the police raided his house and alls he had was a rifle from the 1800s?

and LMFAO made a song called charlie sheen or something, it sucks… but still, music groups are making songs about him llol

in talks with CBS to come back and in talks with Fox…

his toronto date for his stage show sold out in 45 minutes apparently

Please no. It’s not “winning” if you’re the only person that thinks it. That’s the kind of mentality they have for the special olympics…which seems appropriate for Charlie Sheen right about now.

I still can not believe that people watched Two and a Half Men to begin with.

+1

Ditto

i found the show hilarious and i enjoyed watching it. Id watch it again if it came back on the air.

Damn John I don’t feel bad about all of the hours you spent on my car now. At least I know I was keeping you away from horrid television shows.
