no go on those wheels the place i deal with sends all there used stuff to rent and roll
Personally id stay factory
That was the original goal, but look at the price. Even curb’d up ones are 1k. I might as well go 24 ya know?
Does rent and roll sell used rims?! I never thought of them…
as far as i know they sell used wheels
My father is selling his 22’s from his Tahoe that he sold last year. They’re American Racing and come with new Falken tires. They’re a beefy tire, he didn’t want a horrible ride with low-profiles. He babied these, cleaned them every other day. They saw no salt (summer rims) and theres absolutely no damage to them. They now sit in the garage and take up space. I think he was asking $1500 obo.
I work for a whole sale wheel company. Its not always best to go with dirt cheap wheels. They are that way because they are being discontinued so if you curb a wheel or crack one bend it or hell even need a center cap your not going to be able to get one or have a hard time doing it.
Spend the extra bit of cash and get something fairly new. If your buying from a company ask how long the wheel has been out.
I’d post a link to my jobs site but we don’t have any companies selling our wheels in pittsburgh although I tried getting a few set up.
Called rent-n-roll, what a joke. Told me he wouldn’t have any rims that fit an escalade, but has some that fit GM’s like tahoe, denali, avalanche… durr…
people that have certain jobs, should know a little about the field its in.
^
Here’s the info. you asked for.
The rims are 22" D’vinci Carismas and they are wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion rubber that are at 80%. She says they are like-new with no curb rash or anything. $2k negotiable.
thanks fiji, but I’ll pass. Those look exactly like my old wheels, and thats a steep price for used 22’s.
Alright. If you change your mind or want to make an offer, let me know.
How much are you looking at spending?
I talked to my co-worker about what you said. She came to me a few weeks later and said that she did price them too high and will let them go for $1300 since she needs the money for her new baby.
Let me know if that changes your mind.
Hayabusa - No more than 1k for the rims alone. Tires I’ll deal with later.
if your worried about paying $400 a wheel you might wanna go price 24 inch tires first.
Im not worried about it, I could spend 1k per wheel, but I wont. Im looking for “cheap/used 24’s”.
