Nothing worse than haveing different knobs! Compare it to my old Turbonetics controller.
Clockwise is supposed to increase boost not decrease it! This would explain why I was overboosting so bad Sunday at the track. Thank God for boost cut!

Look at those sausage fingers. Is that from a MicroMachine’s car?
Try to think of the Turbo XS as a boost restrictor: increase restriction + / decrease restriction - ? :dunno:
when i turn the dial to the - side the boost goes up. when i turn the dial to the + it goes down.
lol…you skinny fawk, i shall break you like a twig
Is tehre a manual? Maybe it is in fact + to increase restriction or - to decrease.
bought it new from summit racing…yes it came with instructions. all it said was turn low stage dial out three full turns and high stage out two full turns. Then dial in to your designated boost from there using a boost gauge. Pretty shitty directions. Its pretty hard to monitor your boost gauge at the track…almost need a copilot.
I’ll sit copilot and yell at you to let off!
thats the way i remember getting turbo xs boost controllers before i think, and they worked as they should…it’s been a while since i used one though. i could be mistaken
ya its just weird they are complete opposite…I could see if it was left hand thread but its not
You wont have to yell at me to let off…The car will shut itself off if it sees more than 28psi. Maybe ill go do a pull in fourth on the highway somehwere.
how about put it on the dyno and not get arrested/hitadear/die while doing a 4th gear pull? mmkpumpkin?
Get a Turbo Smart controller fag!
:stupid: Exactly how many times do you think they’ll let you out of a ticket Ryan? :mullet:
Not sure…im prob getting close to my last get out of jail free card
get a real car dinglenuttz
yea we could do that but i kno for sure i wouldnt be able to make it up that friggin driveway of his…unless someone wants to tow me…
I turn mine counter-clockwise, and boost rises.
Make sure the little arrow is pointing towards the wastegate.
what little arrow?
if you hook it up backwards then the knob will be backwards.

Step 6… I don’t have the multi-stage one like you, but it still should have the little arrow as shown in step 6 in this link. Well… I’m not 100% sure… but maybe those instructions will help.
o that little arrow…ya i had it pointing towards the wastegate…not sure why that matters tho, do you?
ya i found that out…still weird that different companies make them opposite, you would think they would be universal as to which way to turn the knob
I think it matters b/c then that would tell you which way to turn the knob to raise or lower boost, and that would be affected depending on which way you have that arrow pointed.
Who knows. . I’m not an expert. In fact, I had people turning it the wrong way for me when I first started using it.
its actually labeled on the knob which way to turn it
