civic auto to manual question

ok so i came across a mint rust free bone stock civic hatch automatic…im going to be dropping a b series 5 speed into it soon …my question is ive herd rumors that the auto tranny side mount on the car is in a different location then a 5 speed mount…i was told you have to cut the mount off the car and relocate it…does anyone know were i can just buy a d to b auto to manual mount for the tranny side? thanks guys…

hmm well i went through that hole listing and it doesnt say anything about having to move the trans mount on the frame rail…maybe its just a myth…i will give it a shot but im almost positive i did a auto to manual swap in a del sol and everything bolted up but the trany side of the motor sat up higher and closer to he firewall then the driver side…All in all i dont want to blow threw axles and have a crooked looking motor…but thanks you have been a great help…

EG’s are different, I think all EF mounts are the same for B’s and D’s

I’ve never heard of having to move the car side mount. Where did you hear that from?

EF’s don’t need the mount relocated, the rear trans mount maybe different tho but that’s a bolt on job.

just did an auto to manual swap into my boys crx. no probs everything lined up

Well i know the process of moving the back mount so i guess i give it a shoot…thanks…
