I am finishing an old farmhouse remodel that has original baseboard heaters which are 7.5" tall. I am looking to find some of the end pieces as well as the top strip that regulates heat flow as well as the tabs it is mounted on. Is there some sort of site or store that sells that kind of stuff as well as trim etc from old farmhouses? Thanks
Do you have a picture? There is a local company that makes baseboard heating called Zehnder on Rittling BLVD in S. Buffalo. (Formerly Hydro-Air in Hamburg) They don’t normally do custom jobs but if it’s a standard size they could probably run some pieces off for you without it being too expensive.
I can ask for you if you want. I used to work there and my mom is still an account rep there.
I believe the proper term you’re looking for is hydronic*, but hey hydroponic works too!

I was thinking the same thing. Check with places like IRR Supply for register covers.
I’ll take some pictures later and post them when on the pc. I still havent figured out how to add pics here without uploading somewhere first ha.
Lol I changed to hydronic after I realized it. And thanks Paulo, I’ll shoot you a pm later.
Irr did not have anything, the older ones tend to be taller than the current ones
ERB, johnstone, might be able to get you something, but I doubt its made any more.
I’m getting rid of what I think is what you’re talking about with the end caps.
Post a pic and I’ll check it out
