ugh… i have all these old school guys telling me tq. arm suspension is horrible and i should just go ahead and convert to a 4-link, because i’ll never be able to 60ft; all the while i’m knocking on the door or surpassing their 60ft. times with my stock/mediocre suspension. and i’m no suspension guru.

Yes.
The radial thing seems to have taken off in the past few years. I guess the old school guys just don’t get it. You have guys at MOM’s races putting it on the bumper on radials, and you have Bob Kennedy telling them they need to backhalf / ladder bar their car.
